Wordle, one of the year's most popular games, doesn't necessitate a heavy-duty smartphone or gaming console to enjoy. Following the word game's meteoric rise to online fame, the New York Times paid seven figures to acquire it.
For those who enjoy Wordle and would like to see it developed further, you have found the correct spot. A new game, waffle game, has emerged after several spin-offs. The creator of the game was James Robinson.
When the game was first revealed in February, Robinson explained that its name, waffle, was picked due to its likeness to a waffle.
Unlike Wordle, which provides you six chances to get one word right, Waffle requires you to predict six words. In the game, you can make six words out of green, yellow, and white words by swapping them on the grid. Feel free to make fifteen changes to the text. The website claims that for every Waffle, there are ten different ways to solve it.
The green tiles stand for ones that are correctly positioned, hence their color. Even though they belong in a different place, the yellow tiles indicate that they are still part of the word. Because they are out of place, the white tiles must be replaced.
Play ends when all tiles have been placed correctly or when time runs out. You can only play it once a day, and it resets every 24 hours, same like Wordle.
Anyone looking for a challenge should give waffle a go.
