Wax is an important ingredient used in the cosmetic industry. It is used for body hair removal known as waxing, in the formulation of lipsticks, solid make up, soaps, creams, deodorants and balms etc.

 

Pharma industry also does not hold back in the composition of wax. It is used as a coating for various pharma products like capsules, tablets etc.

Beeswax and soy wax are the most common waxes in these industries, but paraffin wax is often used in heat therapy creams for treating sore muscles and stiff joints.
