The first few months of the year may not be associated with a great amount of warmth outdoors, but there is no shortage of warmth in our hearts – especially as 14th February draws ever nearer.

That’s right, it will soon be Valentine’s Day once again, and here at Shredded-Paper.co.uk, we hope that all of you who are “loved up” are already putting together plans to mark the date in a fitting way.

Now, you might be wondering what the relevance is of our shredded paper on such an occasion as Valentine’s Day. Let’s show you, reminding you of some of the great things that can be done with our shredded craft tissue for gifts, arts and crafts projects, and more at this time of year.

It’s ideal as all-purpose protective packaging

Whether you will be presenting your sweetheart with a beautifully prepared gift hamper in person this Valentine’s, or even sending it through the mail – perhaps because of you being in a long-distance relationship or simply unable to spend your 14th February physically with each other for any reason – our shredded paper can come to the rescue.

You see, it can be tricky to work out how to protect those items you might choose to put in a Valentine’s hamper – think things like soft toys, chocolates, bottles of wine, or something different altogether – in a way that is remotely stylish.

Bubble wrap “does the job”, but it doesn’t look fantastic in a hamper. As for tissue paper, it is more understated in appearance, but it can be easily crushed by heavy items.

That’s where our own shredded papers can come in. We offer them in our store in a broad range of gorgeous hues, such as Vibrant Pink, Deep Red, or even ourJoy Mix, and they’re great for stuffing into all those awkward gaps in a box or hamper basket. They’ll certainly make a better all-round impression on your recipient than the usual bubble wrap, tissue paper, or other packaging filler.

You could use some for Valentine’s craft projects

Do you remember all those artsy and crafty things you used to do at school or home as a kid, such as papermache? Shredded paper can be great for that – or you could even use some of it for decorating your home or office in a Valentine’s-y way, such as by having it strewn around the shelves and worktops.

It can even be used to serve food

Yes, that’s right – we make available food-grade shredded paper that is suitable for direct contact with food. That could be worth considering if you will be making cookies or shortbread and would like to present it to your beloved in style.

In the case of food that is already wrapped, any of our shredded papers can be used for this purpose, as the paper won’t come into direct contact with the food, and is acid-free in any case.

Businesses might also appreciate sending out some love

Do you run a business – such as one involving the sale of goods on eBay or Etsy – that necessitates you sending items to customers through the post?

If so, you might have already discovered how great our shredded papers can be as protective packaging for the customer purchases you send. And if your business sells products that might be presented as Valentine’s gifts, you could always include some of our pink, red, or otherwise “Valentine’s-themed” papers in the box as a lovely touch that the recipient will appreciate.

The above are just a few of the possibilities for how you might choose to use our shredded craft tissue for gifts, customer orders, and a fair few other things this Valentine’s. And don’t forget that we offer free delivery to most UK mainland postcodes!
