The Gunners secured their second away win of the season against a physical Newcastle United side who received six yellow cards as they looked to thwart Arsenal’s quick-passing game.
Aleksandar Mitrovic was also sent off for the hosts after a dangerous challenge on Francis Coqeulin, and Wenger was impressed with how his side remained focused to bring a hard-fought three points back to north London.

De bruyne just signed for city and yet we are still pleading with wenger to sign a striker. Other teams are preparing for the season and wenger still slumbering around. All we hear is arsenal going for this and that player and that's all. I don't know what arsenal board and wenger are all about with the way football is being managed in arsenal. There might be something they know that we don't know and they can as well let we the fans know. Could be finance or any other problem going on in the club, they should please let us know.
