New Holland’s history dates back to 1985 when Abe Zimmerman opened an equipment repair shop in New Holland, Pennsylvania, USA. New Holland tractor’s brand name is derived from a city named New Holland in the USA.  With improvising and developing the business, the company invented the plow for agriculture use. Later in the years, Zimmerman founded the New Holland Company. 

New Holland has a global reach with a presence across 170 countries. New Holland is not just known for tractors in the agricultural industry but also in the construction Industry. The company is administered through its headquarters in Turlin, Italy and the brand headquarter is located in their home town New Holland, Pennsylvania, USA.

New Holland tractors started their operations in the year 1998. But the entry into India was before the year 1998. It all started in the year 1969 when Ford and Escorts signed a joint venture to manufacture tractors in India. Later in the year, 1986 Ford tractors acquired the brand Sperry New Holland to form the brand Ford New Holland. Then in the year 1996, the brand-New Holland agriculture was established.
