Our Week 9 fantasy RB PPR rankings could really get shaken up by the statuses of several injured running backs. Obviously, when someone as important as Christian McCaffrey (hamstring), Saquon Barkley (ankle), or David Montgomery (knee) mi ses time, it affects all types of fantasy football leagues, but those are three notable pa s-catching backs. It's po sible all will play this week, but fantasy owners likely won't be to finalizing their start 'em, sit 'em decisions until closer to Sunday while we wait to see to who comes off the IR and who winds up on the inactive list (James Robinson?).Unfortunately, the league's most-targeted and top pa s-catching RB, D'Andre Swift, will be on bye this week. He's joined by Leonard Fournette, Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKi sic, and Alex Collins. Perhaps just as bad is Detroit, Seattle, and Washington are among the 10-worst defenses against RBs, so that takes away some highly favorable matchups.WEEK 9 PPR RANKINGS: | | | | Fortunately, there are still plenty of favorable matchups still available, and this week, several go Arryn Siposs Jersey to frustrating committees. That might seem like a waste, but it actually puts more borderline RBs in play as legit starters, as both backs Michael Walker Jersey could have at least flex value. The Bills (@ Jaguars), Broncos (@ Cowboys), Eagles (vs. Chargers), Raiders (@ Giants), and Texans (@ Dolphins) all feature at least two RBs who will likely be started in PPR leagues. David Johnson (@ Dolphins), Boston Scott (vs. Chargers), and Kenyan Drake (@ Giants) get the biggest PPR bumps.WEEK 9 STANDARD RANKINGS: | | | | | Myles Gaskin (vs. Texans) is in a great spot, especially in PPR leagues, and Nyheim Hines (@ Jets) could also break out of his seemingly season-long funk, though we're still iffy on him. Devonta Freeman (vs. Vikings) also gets the slightest of bumps, as he's caught three pa ses in two of the past three games. If Latavius Murray (ankle) is out, Freeman is probably a must-start, but even if Murray plays, Freeman could be a PPR flex.WEEK 9 DFS LINEUPS: | | Damien Harris (@ Panthers) is always a tougher call in PPR leagues, especially in a tough matchup. With four teams on bye and several other big injuries, you likely can't afford to sit Harris, but you might need a TD for him to really pay off in PPR. The same goes Elijah Mitchell (vs. Cardinals) and Khalil Herbert (@ Steelers). A J Brown T Shirts James Conner (@ 49ers) seems to have a knack for scoring, but he's riskier than usual in PPR this week. Chase Edmonds has a knack for not scoring (though he did get in the box last week), but considering he's hovered around the top five in RB targets and receptions all year, his floor is pretty safe in PPR leagues, at least for a flex.WEEK 9 DFS: | | Mike Davis (vs. Saints), Samaje Perine (vs. Browns), and Brandon Bolden (@ Panthers) are usually considered better in PPR leagues, but this week, we're not high on any of them. That's also true for Michael Carter (vs. Colts), but after his breakout Week 8, it will be tough to sit himWEEK 9 FANTASY: | | Perhaps your RB corps is so depleted you need to take a chance with one of the borderline players we talked about in this intro. We've all been there, so do what you have to do. But in the mean time, hope players like McCaffrey, David Montgomery (knee) and Clyde Edwards-Helaire (knee) come off the IR and Barkley and Robinson get back on the field. That will make life easier for everyone...well, except those who own their backups. So it goes in fanasy football...Note: We'll be updating these RB PPR rankings throughout the week, so check back for analysis and the latest player movement.Fantasy RB PPR Rankings Week 9: Who to start at running backRankings are based on full-point PPR scoring RankPlayer1Jonathan Taylor, IND vs. NYJ2Austin Ekeler, LAC @ PHI3Aaron Jones, GB @ KC4Alvin Kamara, NO vs. ATL5Najee Harris, PIT vs. CHI6Dalvin Cook, MIN @ BAL7Ezekiel Elliott, DAL vs. DEN8Cordarrelle Patterson, ATL @ NO9James Robinson, JAX vs. BUF10Joe Mixon, CIN vs. CLE11Nick Chubb, CLE @ CIN12Josh Jacobs, LV @ NYG13Darrell Henderson, LAR vs. TEN14Darrel Williams, KC vs. GB15Devontae Shaun Bradley Jersey Booker, NYG vs. LV16Boston Scott, PHI vs. LAC17Chuba Hubbard, CAR vs. NE18Myles Gaskin, MIA vs. HOU19Damien Harris, NE @ CAR20Elijah Mitchell, SF vs. ARI21Michael Carter, NYJ @ IND22Melvin Gordon, DEN @ DAL23Zack Brian Dawkins T Shirts Mo s, BUF @ JAX24Adrian Peterson, TEN @ LAR25Chase Edmonds, ARI @ SF26Kenyan Drake, LV @ NYG27Jordan Howard, PHI vs. LAC28Devin Singletary, BUF @ JAX29Javonte Williams, DEN @ DAL30James Conner, ARI @ SF31Mike Davis, ATL @ NO32David Johnson, HOU vs. MIA33David Montgomery, CHI @ PIT34AJ Dillon, GB @ KC35Tony Pollard, DAL vs. DEN36Jeremy McNichols, TEN @ LAR37Khalil Herbert, CHI @ PIT38Devonta Freeman, BAL vs. MIN39Salvon Ahmed, MIA vs. HOU40Mark Ingram, NO vs. ATL41Ameer Abdullah, CAR vs. NE42Nyheim Hines, IND vs. NYJ43Ty'Son Williams, BAL vs. MIN44Phillip Lindsay, HOU @ MIA45Derrick Gore, KC vs. GB46Samaje Perine, CIN vs. CLE47Ty Johnson, NYJ @ IND48D'Ernest Johnson, CLE @ CIN49Brandon Bolden, NE @ CAR50Le'Veon Bell, BAL vs. MIN51Alexander Mattison, MIN @ BAL52Carlos Hyde, JAX vs. BUF53JaMycal Hasty, SF vs. ARI54Sony Michel, LAR vs. TEN55Jerick McKinnon, KC vs. GB56Kenneth Gainwell, PHI vs. LAC57Justin Jackson, LAC @ PHI58Rhamondre Stevenson, NE @ CAR59Larry Rountree III, LAC @ PHI
