I'm totally in favor of the idea of a melee fight that is a touch, because it just feels... crazy for now.
No matter what it is, whether it's chivalry like, mordhau like, or even mnb like it doesn't matter to me. But the current melee battle strategy isn't as interesting or exciting as those i have mentioned previously, since i don't know which direction i prefer to strike. The system should allow more space for every weapon to bloom instead of being thrown into the corner.
It's also for that "outplaying" gameplay. More attack options = more strategies = more possibilities for outplays. The game is currently heavily reliant on gears because the game lacks matchmaking using gears and hitting better gears can win most often, whether you score 10 hits or 15 hits, because your opponent doesn't die. This isn't true.
In addition to combat adjustments, i would like to observe some changes in matchmaking. I personally believe it'd be better to diversify it into lower than blue gears , or above blue gears or Free(no restriction) groups so that matching becomes more fair. This way, even newcomers could have a place to go without having to fight the fully geared men.
Is Wizard designed to be playable?
I played and enjoyed Tarkov until I understood it and was able to perform better. This game takes the best of Tarkov in its loot system however not the gameplay. There's a distinction between "You were shot because you moved through a wide area when fighting scavs leaving your location open to attack" in addition to "this moving insect took two ice bolts and a lightning strike, but killed you in 3 hits".If you want to learn more about Dark And Darker, please vist https://www.mmoexp.com/Dark-and-darker/Gold.html
