CBD has varied effects on men and women, which is understandable given that men and women have different hormones, physiological constitutions, biological makeups, and other elements. This aspect of CBD is rarely discussed in articles. Therefore, Bloomble brings up the topic of how CBD hits men and women differently. And how our CBD products might help in promoting health and wellbeing in both men and women.

How does CBD work?

To grasp the concept of CBD oil, you must first get a basic understanding of the Cannabis plant family. Cannabis plants contain chemical substances known as cannabinoids, which have been used for therapeutic reasons for countless generations.

Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the hallucinogenic ingredient in marijuana that causes intoxication in users, is the most well-known cannabinoid. The other cannabinoid contained in cannabis plants is cannabidiol (CBD). CBD, unlike THC, has no psychotropic properties. The only thing these two substances have in common is that they both come from the same plant species. All cannabinoids bind with cannabinoid receptors, which are components of the endocannabinoid system, to create actions in the body. The human body has two types of receptors. CB1 receptors are found all over the body, but especially in the brain. Movement, discomfort, mood, temperament, memory, hunger, cognition, and other processes are all coordinated by them. CB2 receptors affect chronic pain.

According to the research, both men and women use CBD for quite comparable reasons. According to many reports, the three most common reasons for both populations to consume CBD are pain, anxiety, and sleep. Yet, there is some difference between these factors. According to Gallup research, men and women utilize CBD at the same rate for health, but women tend to use CBD for anxiety. 25% of women take it for anxiety as opposed to only 14% of males. Men, on the other hand, are more interested in taking CBD to help them sleep. In this study, 15% of males used CBD to help them sleep better, compared to only 8% of women.

So we can say that both men and women get beneficial and from CBD but in their different ways for their medical reasons
