Friendship is a ship of many virtues: trust, love, empathy, kindness, compassion, support, feeling safe, and accepting each other without being judged.

Friendship among pre-schoolers starts by exploring friendship through activities. Kids learn friendship skills like sharing, active listening, asking questions, empathizing, happily working in groups, and inviting others to join. However, friendship among middle-schoolers grows as emotional connections according to their interests, compatibility, and comfort towards like-mindedness.

To honor the importance of friendship and connections that promotes kindness and togetherness, we celebrate International Friendship Day on 30th July. However, some countries celebrate National Friendship Day on different dates. For example, India celebrates friendship day on the first Sunday of August.
