There are many languages that you can learn for web designing. The more languages you know the better job you will land or you can also do that you master one language but you have to master it so perfectly that you will be able to do all the tasks by that particular language only.

You can start by learning simple languages such as HTML and CSS and then you can go for WebGL and other languages available. Remember that it is a flourishing field and the more you know the better it will be. And at last practice as much as you can.
