Google One, a programme that debuted last year, charges $2 per month in the US for 100GB of storage and supplemental advantages like Google Store discounts. Another choice you might think about is the recently released Pixel Pass package plan, which includes Google services like YouTube Premium, YouTube Music, Google Play Pass, and Google One Storage. When used to buy a Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro, plans start at $45 per month for two years.
This page includes information on managing your Google Photos storage, signing up for Google One, and other things you should know about the change and what it means for you.
Managing the space on Google Photos
Any photos and videos you backed up in Google Photos before to the deadline of June 1 will be considered free and exempt from the storage cap. The deadline has gone, but you may still examine the backup's quality by going to Settings > Back up & Sync in the Photos app.

Even with the change, more than 80% of existing Google Photos users should still be able to save about three years' worth of data with the free 15GB. Google will notify you through email and in the app when your 15GB limit is close to be hit. You may also receive a tailored estimate of how long your free storage could last, depending on how frequently you backup your photos and videos to your Google Account.
Google added a new feature to the Pictures app in May to make it easier for you to manage the photos and videos you've accumulated that use up your allotted 15GB of storage space. It will show you any movies, screenshots, or fuzzy pictures that you might wish to delete.
